gg888 brings together all the sports Filipino fans care about — PBA and NBA basketball, football, boxing, volleyball, esports, and international leagues — in one easy-to-use sportsbook. Pre-match and live in-play betting, all in Philippine Peso.
From Philippine leagues to international tournaments, here are the main sports you will find in the gg888 sportsbook.
The sport closest to Filipino hearts. Bet on PBA Philippine Cup games, NBA regular season and playoffs, FIBA tournaments, and collegiate leagues like the UAAP and NCAA Philippines.
Local Philippine Football League fixtures alongside the biggest international leagues — English Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, and UEFA Champions League all have dedicated markets.
Filipino boxing bouts have always drawn massive betting interest. World title fights, WBC, WBA, and IBF championship cards, and undercard events all feature in the gg888 boxing markets.
Philippine volleyball has grown rapidly in popularity. PVL, UAAP, and PSL events are covered alongside international competitions. Both men's and women's tournaments are available.
Esports betting is one of the fastest-growing sections in the gg888 sportsbook. Mobile Legends, DOTA 2, CS2, Valorant, and other titles popular in the Philippines all have active markets.
Beyond the headline categories, gg888 also covers tennis Grand Slams, MMA events, baseball, golf majors, and other international sports with consistent betting interest among Filipino players.
gg888 is built around how people in the Philippines actually follow and bet on sports — on a phone, in PHP, with markets that matter locally.
Each sport on gg888 comes with multiple market types so you have more than one way to back your prediction on any given event.
| Market Type | How It Works | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Match Winner / Moneyline | Pick which team or player wins the event outright. The simplest bet type available. | New bettors; high-confidence picks |
| Handicap / Point Spread | One side starts with a virtual advantage or deficit. Evens out mismatched games and often offers better odds on favourites. | Basketball, football — when one side is heavily favoured |
| Over / Under (Totals) | Bet on whether the combined score or a specific stat will finish above or below a set line. Does not require you to pick a winner. | High-scoring games; when result is unclear but pace is predictable |
| First Scorer / Anytime Scorer | Predict which player scores first or at any point during the match. | Football, basketball individual performance bets |
| Live / In-Play Markets | Odds update continuously as the event progresses. Bet on current quarter, set, round, or overall result while the game is live. | Active bettors who follow games in real time |
| Parlay / Accumulator | Combine multiple selections into one bet. All legs must win for a payout, but odds multiply across selections. | Higher potential returns from smaller stakes |
| Outright / Tournament Winner | Bet on the overall winner of a tournament or league before or during competition. | PBA season, NBA Finals, football leagues — long-range bets |

One of the most used features in the gg888 sportsbook is live in-play betting. Instead of locking in your prediction before the whistle blows, you can watch the action and place bets as the game develops.
For basketball, this means you can bet on a team's momentum after seeing the first quarter. For football, you can back a side after a key substitution changes the shape of the game. For boxing, you can read how a fight is unfolding before deciding on a round outcome market.
Live odds on gg888 update automatically. You do not need to refresh the page — the current line is always visible, and the bet slip recalculates your potential payout every time the odds shift.
In-play odds update continuously so the line always reflects current match conditions.
All live betting markets load cleanly on any smartphone browser without extra installs.
Sports are woven into everyday life across the Philippines — from the PBA season dominating conversation in offices and sari-sari stores, to boxing nights that bring entire neighbourhoods together, to the growing esports scene that has made Filipino teams known internationally. gg888 is designed to sit alongside that culture by making it straightforward to bet on the sports you already follow, using the currency you already use, from the phone already in your pocket.
This guide covers how the gg888 sportsbook is structured, what to expect from each major sport category, how live betting works, and how to manage your bankroll responsibly across a betting session.
Basketball is the most bet-on sport at gg888, which reflects exactly where Filipino sports interest sits. The PBA — Philippine Basketball Association — has markets for every game across the Philippine Cup, Commissioner's Cup, and Governors' Cup. Whether you follow Ginebra, San Miguel, TNT, or any other franchise, the full schedule is represented with pre-match odds and live in-play markets.
Beyond the PBA, gg888 covers the NBA comprehensively. Regular season games, playoffs, and the Finals all have full market availability — match winner, point spread, player totals, and outright championship futures. FIBA tournaments including FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers and FIBA World Cup events are also listed when Filipino national team games are scheduled.
For university leagues, UAAP men's and women's basketball are covered during the season, making it easy to back your alma mater without having to look elsewhere for odds.
Football's footprint in the Philippines has grown steadily, and the gg888 sportsbook reflects that growth. Philippine Football League fixtures are listed for local fans, while international coverage spans the English Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, and the AFC Champions League.
UEFA Champions League nights are consistently among the highest-traffic events in the gg888 sportsbook — particularly when Philippine time matches up with early evening kickoffs in Europe. The FIFA World Cup and AFC Asian Cup qualifying rounds featuring the Philippine national team also generate significant betting activity.
Football markets on gg888 go beyond match winner. Both-teams-to-score, correct score, first goal scorer, and Asian handicap markets are available depending on the fixture and league tier.
Filipino boxing has produced some of the most celebrated fighters in world history, and that legacy continues with active champions and contenders competing across multiple weight classes today. gg888 covers world title fights from all major sanctioning bodies — WBC, WBA, IBF, and WBO — as well as prominent undercard and regional championship events.
Boxing markets typically include outright winner, method of victory (decision, stoppage, KO/TKO), round betting, and over/under rounds. For major Filipino fighter bouts, additional prop markets may be available depending on the event profile.
Live in-play boxing betting allows you to read how a fight is unfolding round by round — particularly useful if you have a strong view on one fighter's stamina or chin holding up over the later rounds.
Volleyball has become one of the most watched sports in the Philippines over recent years, driven largely by the growth of the PVL (Premier Volleyball League) and consistent national team performances in international competition. gg888 covers PVL matches — both reinforced and all-Filipino conferences — as well as UAAP volleyball during the university season.
International volleyball markets include V.League Japan fixtures, VNL events, and SEA Games volleyball when the Philippines participates. Women's volleyball events consistently draw strong betting interest on gg888 given the national team's profile in Philippine sports media.
The Philippines is one of Southeast Asia's strongest esports markets. Filipino teams have competed at the highest level in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, DOTA 2, CS2, and Valorant, creating a natural betting audience that follows these tournaments closely.
gg888 esports markets cover MPL Philippines season matches for Mobile Legends, The International for DOTA 2, CS2 Majors, and VCT Pacific events. Live in-play betting for esports is available on selected tournaments — allowing you to bet on individual map or game outcomes as a series develops.
Esports odds on gg888 are updated to reflect roster changes, recent form, and patch-level meta shifts for the major titles. If you follow the competitive scene closely, the markets reflect that level of detail.
All betting activity on gg888 is denominated in Philippine Peso. You deposit in PHP, your stakes are placed in PHP, and your winnings are credited to your PHP wallet. There are no intermediate currency conversion steps.
Accepted deposit methods include GCash, Maya, local online banking, and direct bank transfer. Deposits typically clear quickly, allowing you to place bets without a lengthy wait between funding and wagering.
Withdrawals are processed to the same local payment methods. A one-time KYC identity verification is completed before your first withdrawal — this confirms the account holder's identity and ensures funds are only released to the verified person.
Decide how much PHP you are comfortable spending before you browse events. Live in-play betting in particular moves quickly — a clear budget prevents unplanned overspending when the action is exciting.
Handicap, Asian line, and totals markets work differently from a simple match winner bet. Take two minutes to understand how a market settles — especially for sports you are less familiar with — before placing a stake.
A losing run is part of sports betting. Increasing your stake to recover previous losses quickly leads to larger losses. Stick to your session budget regardless of results.
Familiarity with a sport, a team's current form, and league-specific patterns gives you a better foundation for betting decisions than random market selection. Focus on the sports you already watch.
Multiple simultaneous events across basketball, football, and esports can make it tempting to bet continuously. Scheduled breaks help you review your open bets with a clear head.
