Place bets on sports, live events, and more — all in Philippine Peso. gg888 brings together the widest range of betting markets available to Filipino players, from PBA basketball to international football, esports, and beyond.
gg888 offers multiple ways to back your picks across every event and sport. Here are the main bet types available on the platform.
Pick which team or player wins. The most straightforward market on any event — ideal if you have a clear read on the favourite and just want to back it simply.
One side starts with a virtual advantage or deficit. Useful when one team is heavily favoured — handicap markets often offer better value on the stronger side or bring a weak underdog into play.
Bet on whether the combined score, total goals, or another statistical line lands above or below a set number. You do not need to pick a winner — just judge the pace of the game.
Bet while the event is happening. Odds update in real time as the score changes, players get injured, or momentum shifts. In-play is available on most major sports and esports events on gg888.
Combine two or more selections into a single bet. All legs must win for the parlay to pay, but your odds multiply across each selection — allowing larger potential returns from a smaller total stake.
Back a team or player to win an entire competition before or during the tournament. Popular for PBA season picks, NBA Finals, and international football leagues where you have a strong view on the eventual champion.
Each sport comes with multiple market types so you always have more than one way to put your read on a game to work.

Live in-play betting is one of the most used features on gg888. Rather than locking in your prediction before tip-off or kick-off, you can watch how the game develops and place bets as the action unfolds in front of you.
For PBA basketball, this means you can see how a team responds after a slow first quarter before deciding to back them on a handicap. For football, you can read how a manager's half-time substitution changes the game before placing an in-play corners or next-goal bet. For boxing, you can judge how a fight is unfolding round by round before committing to a stoppage market.
gg888's live odds update automatically — the current line is always visible in your bet slip, and potential payouts recalculate whenever odds shift. Everything runs in your browser with no additional installs required.
Lines refresh continuously to reflect real match conditions at every moment.
Live betting works on all Android and iOS phones without any app install.
Betting in the Philippines has always had a strong culture behind it — from friendly wagers on PBA games shared on group chats, to the growing audience following international football and esports. gg888 is built to serve that culture by giving Filipino players a single platform where they can access a full range of betting markets, place bets in Philippine Peso, and manage everything from a phone without needing to install anything.
This guide covers how the gg888 betting platform is structured, what makes each market type worth understanding, how odds work, and how to approach your bankroll responsibly so that betting remains an enjoyable part of following sports rather than a source of financial stress.
gg888 displays odds in decimal format — the standard format used across most online betting platforms in Southeast Asia. Decimal odds represent your total return per unit staked, including your original stake. An odds figure of 2.50, for example, means a ₱100 bet returns ₱250 if it wins — your ₱100 stake plus ₱150 in profit.
Odds reflect the implied probability of an outcome as assessed by gg888 at that moment. A short-priced favourite at 1.30 implies a high probability of winning but returns less per bet. A longer-priced underdog at 4.50 carries lower implied probability but returns significantly more. Neither automatically represents better value — value comes from your assessment of probability relative to what the odds imply.
For live in-play markets, odds shift constantly as events develop. A basketball team that falls behind in the first quarter will often see their moneyline odds drift out, while the opposing side shortens. Reading these movements — and deciding when in-play odds represent a better entry point than pre-match — is a core skill for bettors who follow games closely.
Basketball is the most active betting category on gg888, consistent with its position as the most watched sport across the Philippines. The PBA schedule — covering the Philippine Cup, Commissioner's Cup, and Governors' Cup — is fully represented with pre-match odds and live in-play markets for every game. Whether you follow San Miguel, Ginebra, TNT, or any other franchise in the league, your team's games are listed throughout the season.
NBA coverage on gg888 is equally comprehensive. Regular season games, the play-in tournament, playoffs, and the Finals all carry full market availability including moneyline, point spread, game totals, player props, and outright championship futures. FIBA events featuring the Philippine national team — including World Cup qualifiers and FIBA Asia Cup — are also listed when games are scheduled.
The most popular basketball markets among Filipino bettors are handicap and over/under, both of which allow you to engage with the game's scoring pace rather than simply picking a winner. For lopsided matchups where the favourite is near certainty to win, handicap betting provides more meaningful decisions — and often better returns.
Football has steadily grown in betting popularity across the Philippines, and gg888's football coverage reflects that growth. Local competition including Philippine Football League games is listed, while international coverage spans the English Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and AFC Champions League fixtures.
Philippine national team qualifying matches for FIFA World Cup and AFC Asian Cup rounds are covered as they are scheduled, often generating among the highest-traffic events in gg888's football section. UEFA Champions League midweek nights — particularly when kickoff times align favourably with Philippine Standard Time — consistently draw strong betting interest.
Football markets on gg888 extend well beyond match winner. Asian handicap, both-teams-to-score, over/under goals, first scorer, correct score, and clean sheet markets are available depending on the fixture. Live in-play football markets include next goal, current half result, and total corners for selected events.
Filipino boxing has produced some of the most celebrated fighters in the history of the sport. That legacy continues with active world champions and top contenders competing regularly. gg888 covers major world title fights from all four primary sanctioning bodies — WBC, WBA, IBF, and WBO — as well as prominent Filipino-headlined bouts and regional championship events.
Boxing betting markets on gg888 include outright winner, method of victory (decision, stoppage, KO/TKO), round betting, and over/under rounds. Live in-play boxing betting allows you to read how a fight is developing round by round before committing to a specific outcome market — particularly useful if you want to see how a fighter's jab or footwork holds up past the midpoint of a bout before backing them on a decision market.
Volleyball betting at gg888 covers the Premier Volleyball League across both reinforced and all-Filipino conferences, UAAP men's and women's volleyball during the university season, and international events including VNL matches and SEA Games when the Philippine national team participates.
The Philippine women's national volleyball team has developed one of the strongest followings in Philippine sports — match days consistently see high activity in the gg888 volleyball betting section. Markets include match winner, set handicap, and total sets, with live in-play available on selected PVL and international fixtures.
The Philippines is one of Southeast Asia's strongest esports markets, with Filipino teams and players competing at the top level in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, DOTA 2, CS2, and Valorant. gg888's esports betting section covers MPL Philippines for Mobile Legends, The International for DOTA 2, VCT Pacific for Valorant, and CS2 Majors.
Esports markets work the same way as traditional sports markets — you pick an event, select your market type, set your PHP stake, and confirm. Live in-play esports betting is available on selected tournaments, letting you bet on individual map or game outcomes as a series progresses rather than having to commit to an outright series winner before play begins.
Every transaction on gg888 is in Philippine Peso. You deposit in PHP, your bets are placed in PHP, and winnings are credited to your PHP wallet. There are no intermediate currency conversion steps and no surprise exchange rate adjustments between depositing and withdrawing.
Accepted payment methods include GCash, Maya, local online banking, and direct bank transfer. Deposits clear quickly so you can move from funding to betting without a long wait. Withdrawals are processed to the same local payment channels — a one-time KYC identity check is completed before your first withdrawal to confirm that winnings are released directly to the verified account holder.
Decide the maximum PHP amount you are comfortable spending in a session before you browse events. Live in-play betting moves quickly — having a clear limit set in advance prevents unplanned spending when the action is exciting.
Handicap, Asian line, and totals markets settle differently from a simple match winner bet. Take a moment to confirm how a market pays before placing a stake — especially on sports or market types you are less familiar with.
A losing run is a normal part of sports betting over any sample size. Increasing your stake to recover previous losses quickly leads to larger total losses. Stick to your session budget regardless of how results are going.
Familiarity with a league's current form, team dynamics, and recent results gives you a more informed foundation for betting decisions than betting randomly across unfamiliar markets and sports.
Multiple simultaneous events across basketball, football, and esports can make continuous betting tempting. Scheduled breaks help you review open bets with a clear head before placing new ones.
